Corn and Crabmeat Soup

This is the easiest version of the yummylicious corn and crabmeat soup that I can find. I don't have the energy to cook complicated bombastic food anymore..

Corn and Crabmeat Soup

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking time: about 20 mins
Serves 4 people

Main Ingredients

Ingredients:

5 cups of water + 2 cubes of chicken granules
1 can crab meat
1 can cream of corn
1/2 can sweet corn (for that extra crunch)
white pepper
2 beaten egg whites
1 tbs corn flour (mixed with a little bit of water)

Directions:

1. Just pour into the saucepan the cream of corn, sweet corn, 2 cubes of chicken granules and water and mix well. Let it come to a simmer.

Tip: You can add in chopped onions for that extra flavour.

2. Then, add in the crabmeat.

3. Add the egg white in a slow stream and stir very gently to form delicate ribbons of egg white. Season with a little white pepper. No salt is needed as the chicken granules are salty enough. Add in the corn flour mixture.

4. Let cook for a few minutes until the soup thickens and now the soup is ready to be served.

Easy, yummy and healthy..

p/s: Congratulations Amus for having the guts to move to a new house and for having the courage to claim your independence. I am so proud of you!! Make sure you try this recipe in your new kitchen. :)
